I have been a portrait photographer since 2017. After years of exploration, it became clear to me that newborn photography is my greatest passion. Welcoming a little one into your family is one of life's greatest gifts, and I cherish the opportunity to capture that journey and those memories for my clients. My goal is to ensure a calm and gentle environment for baby, while capturing beautiful and timeless portraits that you will cherish for a lifetime. I would describe my photography style as true-to-color, timeless, studio portraiture. My styling incorporates a lot of textures and tactile elements, as well as subtle tone-on-tone variations. I am honored to have had the opportunity to be trained and mentored by some of the most talented local and international photographers.
For me, photography is the answer to the “pause button” that we’d all like to have. Our little ones grow too fast. Those big life events we plan for months, come and go before we remember to stop and enjoy the moment. Everything changes. Those big toothy grins turn into mature young adults. Mom and dad become grandma and grandpa. My clearest memories are often those that I saw in the coffee table album or hanging on the wall. Or popping up in a Facebook memory! My intent is to help you allow those memories to endure – the sights, the sounds, the emotion.
On a personal note, I’m blessed to be married to my best friend and greatest champion, Jeremy. We have two incredible (not that I'm biased!) and expressive kiddos, Izzy and Luca. As a family, we’re dreamers and explorers. On the weekends you can either find us spending time together on the front porch, on the soccer field or off lost in the mountains. I was born in Canada, raised in the midwest and now our family is happy to call the gorgeous state of Utah our home. Before Photography became my full-time career, I was a 20-year veteran in the field of marketing, specializing in digital and eCommerce, and working with many of the world's most admired brands, including PetSmart, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Walmart, Darden Restaurants and many others. I received my Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the College of Business Administration at Missouri State University in 2001.
